The Infrastructure

identrica has been designed specifically to be simply integrated into your chosen access infrastructure.

Your existing enterprise-level web application entry pages require very little additional programming by professional web developers to incorporate an additional dialog box.

Interface is via a range of identrica APIs which are typically Radius based but include custom interfaces (e.g. for Citrix).

The interface manages connectivity to identrica, monitoring availability of two separate managed service sites.

The APIs also interface with the database (e.g Active directory) to check user phone numbers. The user’s phone number (or numbers) is simply registered in, and retrieved from, your existing customer database.

Gateways are typically enterprise level, or project specific, remote web access gateways to applications, or all the SSL/VPN devices such as AEP/Netilla, Aventail or NetScreen (or CITRIX Metaframe).

Radius is central (although not compulsory) in deploying remote access solutions with identrica. We provide our own ‘small footprint’ software Radius device which is fast and capable of large-scale use. It requires minimal setup and management effort – according to one of our customers it is truly ‘install and forget’. Where there is an existing investment in other Radius servers (e.g. SteelBelted Radius from Funk) identrica can also be easily integrated.

Service Management is a separate application which allows visibility of call tracking and events in realtime, to assist helpdesk calls and user administration.
