Authentication specialist identrica Limited has been invited to join the Citrix Global Alliance program as a Technology Partner.

identrica provides strong, two-factor authentication using a standard mobile phone to replace smartcards, electronic "authenticators" or one-time-passwords. The Citrix Access Platform relies on robust user authentication to give workers secure, easy and instant access to enterprise applications and resources, no matter where they are located, using any device, over any connection.
"Citrix is widely-used by our potential customers", said identrica CTO Doug McCracken. "We were keen to ensure that identrica integrated with it as seamlessly as possible."
identrica developers worked closely with Citrix to ensure that the interface was fully functional and fully tested. Now Citrix customers can add identrica's robust two-factor security to their installations with no need for extra authentication servers or administrative overheads - all that's required is a list of users' mobile phone numbers and a few configuration changes.
"The standard authentication system simply queries the identrica servers to ensure that a user requesting access has made a phone call from their registered mobile phone," says McCracken. "It couldn't be much easier."
