October 2006: Founded in 1999, Retis S.p.A. specialises in telecommunication network design, implementation and management. The company has many clients in the Italian telco and public administration/utilities markets. Retis also provides specialist Internet Oriented platform design and development, application security assurance and consultancy services.
The Italian market for strong authentication is driven by the increasing requirement to provide secure remote access for mobile staff and customers – as is happening around the world. Like everyone else, Italians are in love with their mobile phones and enjoy the freedom of being able to log on securely without having to carry around tokens, smartcards or readers.
